Life is more enjoyable when you are connected with your spouse. No duh, right? But the number of couples who live their lives in isolation is staggering. Take a look around the church and you’ll see them everywhere. They may be doing their best to look like they are “together” but sadly it’s just an act. They aren’t connected to each other and they definitely aren’t connected to a larger community. This isn’t a condemnation, just a reality. We want to change that.

twoignite was created to help you and your spouse to reconnect around dreams you have and adventures you share. We want to help you and your spouse do things with other couples, focusing on activities you all enjoy. This isn’t about putting you in a small group and hoping for the best—it’s about giving you opportunities to be with the people you want to be with doing the things you want to be doing. In the process, you'll be doing life together as a couple and as a community.

We believe that marriages improve in the context of community. Yes, there are things you can do as a couple to work on your marriage, but all too often it ends just there—with work. We want you to have fun, doing the stuff you love to do with people you can have a blast with. This isn’t about  following the right curriculum; it’s about giving you easy ways to connect with other couples for the sole purpose of having fun and learning together just by being together. The crazy thing is that your marriage will improve in the process.

Here's how we do that. The first weekend of every month is a twoignite weekend at Mission. As a church body, we take a look at one aspect of marriage, talking about it together in the service and then living it out during the weeks that follow.

At Mission, you'll find ways to connect with other couples each month--from dance lessons to help ignite some romance in your marriage to adventures with other couples that bring back your sense of fun and play.
