College/Young Adults (18-24)

ember: keep the fire burning

We meet at 7p on Tuesday evenings in the Student Center. Single? Married? Between the ages of 18 and 24? Perfect, we hope to see you here! Ember, led by Jason Robinson, exists to encourage college students and young adults to be re-ignited for Christ.

We believe that community is essential to spiritual growth and vitality. Ember is an environment to grow in your relationship with God and with others thru weekly gatherings, friendships and events throughout the year.

Concert on April 23rd!

We have an AMAZING concert lined up for April 23rd! I can only announce one of the bands right now, but there are two more that will be announced later this week.

Trevor Davis is returning to Mission for a show! He played a show for our college students a few weeks ago and they LOVED HIM.

The show will take place in the new Student Center that Friday night. More info is coming soon, but make sure you save the date!

All About Ember

Ember is the College gathering at MISSION. We are a growing community of college students and young adults who meet together each week for worship, Bible study, discussion and fellowship & friendship.

The word “Ember” has been defined as a piece of coal or the smoldering remnant of a fire. This definition obviously doesn’t lend itself to creating an identity for a thriving college ministry. To us, however an ember is much more. An ember is glowing and ready to ignite with a little air and fuel. An ember is the hottest part of a fire and is used by blacksmiths to heat and shape steel. An ember can be moved to start new fires.

Ember exists to encourage college students and young adults to be re-ignited for Christ, to burn hot and make these years the most productive for Christ and to start new fires of faith as they branch out into the world on their own.
