The High School Ministry is heading to Rocky Point this March 16-18th. This mission trip will be our church's first partnership with WEEKEND MISSIONS! I'm excited to have our students lead the way once again.
This trip is a great first step for students who haven't participated in missions work yet. We're sure that students who have been on dozens of trips will enjoy it as well! This trip is open to all 9th-12th graders.
How much will the trip cost?
- Cost of the trip is $195 if paid in full by February 1
- Cost of the trip is $215 if paid in full between February 2-24
- Cost of the trip is $235 if paid in full between February 25-March 1
A $100 non-refundable deposit will be required to register.
What will we be doing while we are there?
There are a handful of possibilities for us to serve the people of Rocky Point. We will determine the specific activities for this trip as we get closer to our departure date, based on their needs and the dynamic of our group. The most likely scenario will include ministering to children and families and minor construction work (that any student should be able to handle).
Can moms and dads come along?
Yes! This will be the first trip that we will be inviting moms and dads to come along and serve with their kids. We just ask that you run it by your kids to make sure they're ok with it. If you are a parent who would like to attend the trip, the cost and process is the same for you. Please download an application at the top of this page and fill it out. To be clear, parents aren't required to come, we will have our HS Ministry volunteer team coming on the trip as well.
