Vision Arizona

Vision Arizona is SSCC's ministry to those in need of mercy in our own community.

You don't have to get on an airplane to find hurting people who are in need of someone to show them mercy and extend God's justice to them. With this in mind, SSCC has partnered with House of Refuge East, a non-profit organization which exists to help families living poverty get back on their feet. HR East also happens to be right down the street from SSCC's campus. House of Refuge East provides transitional housing and supportive services in Arizona to homeless individuals, families and victims of domestic violence. Their purpose is to empower participants to experience healing and become self-sufficient.

On Mother's Day of 2008, the mothers of SSCC donated beds to HR East to help mothers in the program keep thier children from having to sleep on the floor.
