MISSION Night of Worship "Eternity's Shore"

Night of Worship - Eternity's Shore

"When we arrive at eternity's shore, where death is just a memory and tears are no more. We'll enter in as the wedding bells ring, Your bride will come together and we'll sing, You're beautiful!"

These words are from the song "You're beautiful" by Phil Wickham.  We have done this song quite a few times in our weekend services over the past few months, and as I prayed about a theme for our next Night of Worship, I felt like this would be the perfect concept to get our hearts and minds around as we gather in His name.

Someday we will all arrive at Eternity's Shore, to participate in worship for eternity.  Finally, our toil with this world will come to an end, and we will begin to do what we were designed to do, to glorify God fully.  There will not be anything stealing our affection, distracting us from focusing completely on Him.  And yet, we are here, and now.  We have the privilege of getting to worship Him now, to catch tiny glimpses of what it means to be fully human, to worship and give Him glory.  If only we could be convinced that to worship God in everything we do would mean to live the most full and abundant, joy-filled life possible.

I hope that wherever you find yourself in your journey with the Lord, that your desire would be to learn how to worship more and more with your life.  Not just in song, but in the quiet moments of your day.  This is the chief end of all mankind.

I hope you will join us Thursday, February 11th for our Night of Worship.  We will sing, practice disciplines together, exhort one another, pray together, meditate on God together, and I expect, walk away a changed people, with our affections stirred toward the Almighty God.  When we do, we will see the very face of Jesus.

"I see Your face, You're beautiful, You're beautiful, You're beautiful".

Please join us.
