Meet Our Staff

When did you join MISSION staff?

I joined MISSION in February 2009.

Where did you go to college?

I have a degree from ASU in Sociology.

What is your family like?

I have a beautiful Puerto Rican wife, Liz and a super handsome boy, Ethan. We are expecting #2 in Dec!

Where were you born?

I was born in Mesa, AZ. Arizonan born and raised.

What is your current soundtrack?

I can't stop listening to the Mumford and Sons album, and I am really loving Audrey Assad right now too.

What are you reading right now?

I am currently reading several books. I have some text books for my classes, and in my own time I am reading Almost Christian, Forgotten God, and I really want to read some Bonhoeffer.

What was your first job?

My first job was at Jungle Jim's Playland. It was a terrible job. I tried to make kids throw up on the tea-cup ride. (I was 16, don't judge me)

If you could go anywhere, where would you go?

I really love to vacation in big cities. I am a urban kind of guy. I much prefer New York City, Boston and Philidelphia over the mountains. I do, however, love San Diego.

Who are two people you'd like to meet?

I would love to meet Brennan Manning and Francis Chan.

Best place in the Valley to get Mexican food?

If you want some great mexican food, go to El Zocalo in downtown Chandler.
