Meet Our Staff

When did you join MISSION staff?

I joined MISSION in November of 2011.

Where did you go to school?

I received my Master's from Dallas Theological Seminary in Biblical Studies and am currently finishing my Doctorate at Denver Seminary in Spiritual Formation.

What is your family like?

I am married to the world's kindest human, Kirk. We married later in life so we do not have children of our own, but we have wonderful nieces, nephews and family members to love on.

Where were you born?

I was born in Dallas, TX and lived there for the first half of my life, (Go Cowboys!)

What is something most people don't know about you?

I love to go paragliding, and Kirk and I lived on Maui for four years.

What are you reading right now?

Jean Vanier on the Gospel of John.

If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go?

I love the South of France, particularly Nice.

If you were on a deserted island and could only bring 3 things, what would they be?

Kirk, my iPhone and my guitar.

Who are two people you would like to meet?

Elie Wiesel, author and Nobel Peace Prize Winner and Jean Vanier, who established L'Arche Homes for the mentally challenged.
